Refund policy
Every AdEye payment is final. Below are the narrow exceptions, the way to raise one, and how renewals and cancelling work. Applies from 14 October 2026.
1. Every sale is final
An AdEye plan is a monthly or yearly subscription to the ad intelligence tool, with the monthly search allowance shown on the pricing page. You are paying for the tool to be open to you for a billing period, not per search, per saved ad or per board. The full allowance is available from the first day of the period whether you run one search or all of them.
The pricing page lists what each plan covers before you buy, and the demo lets you see the feed, the AI tags and the boards before you pay, so the purchase should not hold surprises. If AdEye stops being useful, switch off renewal and no further charge follows.
When you subscribe you ask us to begin providing the service immediately, and you accept that any statutory withdrawal right or cooling-off period no longer applies once we have done so.
2. Cancelling stops the next charge, not the current one
You can cancel at any moment from the billing area of your account, without contacting us. From that moment no further renewal is charged. You keep the plan until the period you already paid for runs out, and the unused days are not credited or pro-rated.
Plans renew automatically. At the start of each new period, access for that period is granted and its fee is owed. If your bank declines the charge, our payment operator tries again over the following days; these are retries of one open invoice, not new charges. Cancelling in the meantime turns off later renewals but does not cancel the invoice already due, and that renewal is not refunded once collected. To be sure a renewal does not happen, cancel before the date shown in your account.
3. When we do return a charge
Only these three situations qualify, only when they can be shown, and only up to the charge concerned.
- A duplicate charge. Our billing took payment twice for the same period.
- An unauthorised charge, proven. Your card was used without your consent, you tell us within 14 days, and the payment and account records agree. Saying so is not enough on its own; the records decide, and we may ask you to confirm you have reported it to your card issuer.
- A complete outage. A confirmed fault on our side left AdEye entirely unusable for a continuous period, you reported it while it was happening, and we did not fix it. Slower searches, gaps in a public ad library, partial issues and problems with your own setup are excluded.
A refund under this section is our full and only liability, never exceeds what you paid for the affected period, and goes back to the original card only. One refund does not create a right to a second.
4. Not grounds for a refund
- Changing your mind, or your campaigns or budget changing.
- Running few or no searches during a paid period.
- A competitor, ad or platform not appearing, or appearing with less history than you hoped. Coverage depends on what the public ad libraries publish.
- How useful you found the working signal or the AI tags on a creative.
- A renewal that went through, including after earlier failed attempts.
- Assuming a plan was a single payment. Pricing, checkout, the confirmation email and the account page all say it renews.
- Missing the renewal date, or cancelling right after it.
- A feature that is not described on the pricing page, or that works differently from your expectation.
- Choosing the wrong plan size or billing term.
- Use of your login by anyone else.
5. Requesting a refund
Write to [email protected] from the email address on your account within 14 days of the charge, stating the date, the amount and which case in section 3 applies. Requests that arrive later, from a different address or by another channel are not considered. Requests are handled in the order received, without a guaranteed reply time, and declined requests are not reopened.
6. Evidence we hold
By creating an account you accept our terms of service, which include this policy and our privacy policy. Before any payment, checkout shows the plan, price, billing term and automatic renewal, and the confirmation email repeats them.
For each subscription we keep the purchase time, the plan and price displayed, your acceptance of the terms, the emails sent to you and an activity log of the account, such as sign-ins, searches run, ads saved and boards created, with the technical details recorded with each. Our payment operator holds its own record of every payment, including the card's country of issue, where the payment came from and the result of bank checks such as 3D Secure. Unauthorised-charge claims are assessed against these records.
7. Disputes with your bank
If you think a charge is wrong, contact us before anything else. Filing a chargeback without doing so breaches our terms and leads to permanent closure of the account, and we provide the records in section 6 to your card issuer.
8. Purchases before this policy
Payments made before 14 October 2026 remain under the terms in force when they were made. Payments from that date follow this policy.
