Facebook page transparency: the ad library, active ads and page ID for any page

Page transparency is the panel on a Facebook page that shows when the page was created, which countries its admins sit in, any names it has used before, and whether it is currently running ads. For anyone researching a competitor it is the shortest route from a brand page to that brand's live ad creative, because the panel links straight into the Meta Ad Library filtered to that one advertiser.

The catch in 2026 is that Meta moved it. The old About then Page Transparency path no longer shows the panel on many pages, which is why so many people now search for page transparency and conclude Facebook removed it. It is still there, just relocated, and there is a URL you can build by hand that skips the hunt entirely: append view_all_page_id and the numeric page ID to the ad library address and you land on that advertiser's ads directly.

AdEye takes the same public data the transparency panel points at and removes the clicking. Note that AdEye reads Google's ad transparency data, not Meta's, so it cannot resolve a Facebook page to its Meta ads; the URL trick above is how you do that. What AdEye removes the clicking from is the same job on Google: paste a brand or a website and you get every live Google ad for that advertiser in one feed, AI-tagged by hook, angle and format, with run length so the creatives earning real budget separate themselves from this week's tests. Nothing here comes from behind a login. It is the same public ad-library record, organized so you can actually use it.

Google Ads Transparency has no ads on record for that search. Google indexes ads by advertiser, so the brand's exact domain works best, for example nike.com.
Google Ads Transparency has no ads on record for . That is an answer about the brand, not a problem with the search: they are not running Google ads that Google publishes, or they advertise under a different registered name.

GOOGLE ADS TRANSPARENCY

Run length on every ad

AI-tagged hooks & angles

Why it works

What page transparency tells you about an advertiser

Page ID to ad library

Give AdEye a brand name or a website and it resolves the Google advertiser and opens every live ad, no transparency panel required.

Works when the panel is hidden

Meta keeps moving the transparency section between layouts. AdEye reads the underlying public ad-library data, so a relocated panel never blocks your research.

Creative, not just metadata

Transparency shows page age and admin countries. AdEye adds the part you actually brief against: the hooks, angles, formats and run lengths behind each live ad.

What it surfaces

Every ad card carries the hook, angle and a working signal

You type a brand or a domain. AdEye pulls that advertiser's live public Google ads into one feed and AI-tags each creative on the paid plans, so you read the strategy and spot the long-running winners before you save a single one.

  • Look up any page by name, ID or website
  • See every active Google ad an advertiser runs
  • Read hook, angle and format on each creative
  • Sort by run length to find proven ads
  • Save a page's ads to a board with their run length
  • Public ad-library data only

Why AdEye

One feed, the AI read, the working signal in view

Not a stale doc full of screenshots. One query for a brand, the run length on every creative, and a swipe file worth reopening. Public ad-library data only.

Every Google ad at once

The Google Ads Transparency Center searched by brand or domain, so competitor ad research is one query instead of clicking through Google's own viewer.

The AI reads the why

Creatives are tagged with their hook, angle and format on the paid plans, a few per search and kept once read, and a working signal flags the long-runners, so you see why an ad works, not just what it ran.

A swipe file that stays current

Save winners to boards, each keeping its run length and a link back to the original creative on Google, so the file is still useful months later.

Good questions

Questions about page transparency

Page transparency is a public panel on every Facebook page showing the date the page was created, the countries its admins are managed from, previous names the page has used, and whether it is currently running ads. Meta publishes it so anyone can check who is behind a page, and it needs no account to view.
Meta relocated it. On the current layout the About then Page Transparency route often shows nothing, and you instead click the page name at the top of the profile and scroll to the transparency and details area. For your own page, Meta Business Suite settings still lists the same information reliably.
In almost every case it is hidden, not removed. Meta changed where the panel sits and the mobile app and desktop site surface it differently, so the old path returns nothing. Personal profiles never had it, only pages. If you cannot find the panel, go straight to the ad library URL instead.
From the page, open the transparency panel, choose See All, find Ads From This Page and click Go to Ad Library. That opens the Meta Ad Library filtered to that single advertiser. If the panel is hidden, search the page name in the ad library directly and pick the advertiser from the dropdown.
It is the URL parameter the Meta Ad Library uses to filter to one advertiser. Build the address as facebook.com/ads/library/?active_status=active&ad_type=all&country=US&view_all_page_id=PAGE_ID and swap in the numeric page ID. This is the most reliable route because it does not depend on where Meta has moved the transparency panel this month.
The page ID is a long number unique to the page. The transparency panel lists it when you can reach it. The dependable alternative is to search the page name in the Meta Ad Library, open that advertiser, and read the number after view_all_page_id in your browser address bar. That works even when the panel is hidden.
Not for ordinary commercial advertisers. Spend ranges and impression data are published only for political and social issue ads. For a normal brand you can see the creatives and how long each has been running, which is why run length is the practical proxy for what is working.
Instagram shows a similar About This Account panel, and because Meta runs one ad system across both apps, ads from a linked Facebook page appear in the same ad library entry. Looking the advertiser up once in the ad library returns their Facebook and Instagram placements together.
Start from their website. The ad library itself cannot match a domain, so searching one usually returns nothing even for heavy advertisers. Take the exact page name from the Facebook link in their site footer, or paste the domain into AdEye and let it resolve the advertiser and pull the ads for you.
Not from the transparency panel or the ad library, which are both snapshots you have to recheck by hand, and AdEye does not add notifications either. What it does add for Google ads is the run length on every creative, so you can read how long an advertiser has been funding something rather than only that it exists.
Yes. Meta publishes page transparency and the Ad Library deliberately, as advertising transparency disclosures, and both are open without an account. AdEye reads only that same public record. Nothing on this page involves private data, an advertiser's ad account, or anything behind a login.
