PowerAdSpy costs $69 a month for Basic, $99 for Standard, $279 for Platinum and $399 for Palladium, verified on poweradspy.com on 31 August 2026. Annual billing cuts every plan by 58 to 70 percent, taking Basic to $27 a month and Palladium to $119. There is no free trial: Basic starts at $1 for three days and the higher plans at $7, then roll into the full rate.

PowerAdSpy sells creative discovery across social and display networks, and its pricing is unusually legible for this category because all four tiers carry a public number. The catch is that the tiers are sorted by advertising network, not by feature depth. Which plan you need is decided almost entirely by where you buy media, and that trips up a lot of buyers who compare the $69 headline against a competitor without checking what $69 actually covers.

How much does PowerAdSpy cost?

Four plans, four published prices. Basic is $69 a month, Standard is $99, Platinum is $279 and Palladium is $399, all at monthly billing. PowerAdSpy states there is no long-term contract on any of them and that you can upgrade at any time.

PlanMonthlyNetworksBrand limitTrial
Basic$692 (Facebook, Instagram)1 brand$1 for 3 days
Standard$994 (adds Pinterest, Google Display Network)5 brands$7 for 3 days
Platinum$2797 (adds YouTube, Native, Google Search)10 brands$7 for 3 days
Palladium$39911 (adds LinkedIn, TikTok, Quora, Reddit)30 brands$7 for 3 days

Read that brand-limit column carefully, because it is the constraint most people hit first. Basic tracks one brand. If you run an agency with six clients, the $69 plan is not a cheaper version of the product, it is a different product, and you are on Standard at minimum before the tool does the job you bought it for.

Does PowerAdSpy have a free trial?

No. PowerAdSpy runs paid three-day trials instead: $1 for three days on Basic and $7 for three days on Standard, Platinum and Palladium. After day three the trial rolls automatically into the full monthly rate unless you cancel. The site separately describes a seven-day risk-free window, which functions as a refund guarantee rather than free access before payment.

PowerAdSpy explains the price split simply enough: Basic covers Facebook and Instagram, so its trial is $1, while the higher plans unlock more networks and deeper filters and so cost $7 to sample. Three days is short for this kind of tool. Budget an evening to search your five closest competitors properly rather than assuming you will get to it during the week.

Which PowerAdSpy plan covers Google ads?

Google Search coverage starts at Platinum, $279 a month. The $99 Standard plan includes the Google Display Network only, described as niche coverage, and Basic includes no Google surface at all. If your competitors run search text ads and you assumed the entry plan would show them, the real price is four times what the pricing page leads with.

That is worth isolating because it is the single most common mismatch in this category. Search advertising and social creative are different research jobs, and most creative-first spy tools treat Google Search as a premium add-on rather than core coverage. If Google is where you actually spend, price the tools that lead with Google rather than the tools that bolt it on at the top tier. Our Google Ads spy tool page covers what public Google ad data does and does not include.

What is the difference between PowerAdSpy Standard and Platinum?

Networks, filters and estimates. Standard at $99 adds Pinterest and the Google Display Network to Basic's Facebook and Instagram, plus targeting filters, advanced ad analytics and unlimited ad trackers. Platinum at $279 adds YouTube, native ads and Google Search, then layers on device, affiliate, ecommerce, marketing and funnel filters, full access to Market Trends, and Estimated Ad Budget.

Estimated Ad Budget is the feature most people are really buying at $279, and it deserves a caveat that no vendor in this category volunteers. Nobody reads a competitor's advertising account. Every spend estimate sold anywhere in ad intelligence is modelled backwards from scraped placements, which means it undercounts brand campaigns, misses tightly targeted geographies, and cannot see Performance Max at all, because Performance Max never ran on a keyword list. Treat the number as a directional signal, not a figure to put in a client deck.

How much do you save on PowerAdSpy annual billing?

Between 58 and 70 percent, which is steep even by this category's standards. PowerAdSpy publishes two worked examples: Basic falls from $69 to $27 a month, billed as $331 for the year, and Palladium falls from $399 to $119 a month, billed as $1,436. Standard drops from $99 to $39 a month, or $475 a year. Annual plans are charged upfront as a single payment.

PlanMonthly rateAnnual rate per monthCharged upfront
Basic$69$27$331 a year
Standard$99$39$475 a year
Palladium$399$119$1,436 a year

A discount that large changes the buying question. At a normal 20 percent saving you are deciding whether you will still want the tool in month eight. At 60 to 70 percent you are effectively being paid to commit, and the risk shifts to whether the vendor's network coverage still matches your media plan a year out. If you are certain about the networks, annual is hard to argue with. If you are still testing where you buy, take three monthly cycles first.

Is PowerAdSpy worth it?

It is worth it for a media buyer or affiliate who runs paid social continuously across several networks and needs a large searchable creative index in one place. The eleven-network spread at the top tier is genuinely broad, and unlimited ad trackers from $99 up is useful if your job is watching a fixed set of rivals week to week.

It is poor value in three cases. If you track one brand, the Basic limit makes the tool feel thinner than the price suggests. If Google Search is your main channel, you are paying $279 for coverage that specialist Google tools include from the entry tier. And if you check competitors monthly rather than daily, the free public ad libraries plus a cheap retention tool will cover you for a fraction of the cost. Finding the angle is only half the work anyway: once you know what a rival is running, you still have to produce something better, which is usually a matter of briefing a vetted creator to shoot it rather than buying another subscription.

How does PowerAdSpy pricing compare to other ad spy tools?

PowerAdSpy sits in the middle of the published range. Entry plans in this category start around $25 to $29, and the highest published monthly prices run to about $549 before you reach quote-only enterprise products. PowerAdSpy's $69 entry is above the cheapest creative tools and well below the display and paid search intelligence platforms.

ToolEntry priceTop published priceVerified
PowerAdSpy$69$39931 Aug 2026
Foreplay$59$45931 Aug 2026
SpyFu$29$11929 Aug 2026
Adbeat$249$399 plus quoted Enterprise30 Aug 2026
Adthena$350$399 plus quoted tiers29 Aug 2026
AdEye$39$299Aug 2026

The comparison only means something once you normalize the billing unit, because no two vendors charge for the same thing. PowerAdSpy caps brands. Foreplay charges $20 per extra user and $50 per extra brand. Adbeat gates results per search and how far back you can look. AdEye sells searches a month. Our ad spy tool pricing comparison lays out every verified price alongside the unit each vendor bills on, and the individual breakdowns for Adbeat pricing, Adthena pricing and SpyFu pricing go deeper on each.

Can you cancel PowerAdSpy at any time?

Yes. PowerAdSpy states there is no long-term contract on Basic, Standard, Platinum or Palladium, and that plans can be upgraded at any time. The practical caveat is the trial: a three-day paid trial converts automatically into the full monthly rate on day four, so cancel before day three if you are only sampling. Annual plans are charged as one upfront payment, so cancelling mid-year is a different conversation from cancelling a monthly plan.

Who should buy which PowerAdSpy plan

Basic at $69 suits a solo affiliate or a single-brand ecommerce operator working Facebook and Instagram only. Standard at $99 is the realistic floor for a small agency, because five brands and unlimited ad trackers is where the tool starts doing continuous monitoring rather than one-off lookups. Platinum at $279 is for teams that need YouTube, native and Google Search in one index and want the budget estimates. Palladium at $399 makes sense only if LinkedIn, TikTok, Quora or Reddit are real channels for you rather than boxes on a feature list.

One last piece of advice that applies to every tool in this category, not just this one. Write down the number of brands you track, the number of seats you need, and the networks you actually buy on, before you open any pricing page. Every vendor here prices on a different one of those three axes, and the plan that looks expensive on the pricing page is frequently the cheaper one once you count what a real month of work requires.
